Did someone call?
Satuday 3rd
of June
Well, this seems to
be my best holiday yet.
Lets see, this saturday I was out the whole day.
I got up at 6.30 and went to Damai at 7.30. I went to Cyber
X and played DotA from 7.30 to 11.30. Later Elson persuaded us to join the
International GunBound competition.
Kew and I registered on the spot and
both of us have nvr played that game b4..i have but that was a year ago. We
lost the first round, won the 2nd and lost the 3rd …
hahaha..amazing for beginners..both of us were all chicken level while the
other team were ruby and blue scepter thingy..fun lar..
Later went to have lunch at BurgerKing then went to Tsung
Tsin to help with the fliers..
We helped to colour all 400 fliers to be distributed the
next day…
After that went to play basketball, form 4 vs form 5 Vega..
Still had martial arts class at 6. Later went to church to
see the first ever(in my opinion) worship rally…some team from P. Pinang..lots
of dancing and stuff…I don’t like these things… it lasted until 11.30… so I was
out the whole day from 7.30 to 11.30.. a new record
Sunday 4th
of June
Suppose to meet the guys at the library at 6.30.. but I only
woke up at 7.00 so no choice..rushed to Pizza Hut.. We had to sell tickets and
distribute fliers to people at Gaya Street.
We broke into teams and each took a section.. So around 9.30 we stopped at the
fountain..and this policeman( JPJ I think) comes up to us and says we r
breaking the law..hahaha… if they find our fliers and thrown on the floor we
could be fined RM100 a piece.. more red tape..had to obtain a permit which
could take 4 days to approve..
We all headed to Wisma Merdeka around 10.00am for breakfast.
Later broke into teams again to tackle each floor and we managed
to sell all our tickets and ask for donations. Around 12pm we tried to get donations and Segama and since that
place is notorious for crime we went into parties of 6 per team. We met a
couple frm HongKong asking directions to JalanGaya and we were wondering where
that was(I only found out at home that Jalan Gaya was in fact Gaya Street) We
took some picturesthen went to KK Plaza to ask for donations.Had lunch there
then a few of us took a bus to Lintas. On the way to the bus stop we ran into
this HK family..they were looking at us all in the same shirt and said “ Kaki
Lang” (Hokkien for “friends”) So my friend said to them “Kaki Lang” then this
phrase was used a few times before we actually made conversation..found out
were they were from then everyone spoke in Cantonese..lucky I watch TVB I could
understand..haha..they asked whether we were tourist..then we told them about the 友谊花开YouYiHuaKai…they
donated RM10…we were video’d and took some pictures..they were heading for
Centre Point..we exchanged emails with them then showed them to CP..
We took the No.6 bus to Lintas and since the best was half
empty we spoke really loud..really fun..like we were a group of tourist.. went
to EZ Way and the rest is
history..it was really a great day..met 2 tourist groups and had a great time… I
think this is the best club I’ve been in…
The thing we were promoting
It will be held This Friday at Kian Kok Middleschool Hall
from 1.00pm to 4.00pm
It is an event that is held once a year and they have
performances such as band, singing, dancing(I think), cultural performance… 友谊花开 is a guild
built on 6 schools ( TTSS, Kian Kok, La Salle, Stella Maris, Peter Mojuntin,
Maktab Sabah) and this is to support the chinese community. We require
donations to carry out the groups work and for future generations. Remember
this Friday afternoon, come and support us..
Next on the Agenda…
I think I’ve lost faith in God…
Havent been going church lately and people are asking
questions…
Just really gotten lazy from all the..stuff…kinda tired…
Cheers
